The current version of the constructor is 4.0.
Version 4.0 runs on ZIT. It was decided to abandon face-swap technology (adding your own face): it produced unstable results and broke the game's unified art style. An avatar is now a cohesive, stylized full-body illustration of your character.
Style groups
Your avatar is created in the style of the group you joined in the Jobs system. Each group is its own visual direction:
- Hacker — netrunner techwear aesthetic: glowing hoodies, data ports, cables, AR glasses, neon dreads.
- Street — street style: graffiti, streetwear, punk, leather and chains, the bold look of the underground.
- Corpo — corporate chic: impeccable suits, sharp silhouettes, power in the details.
- Mercenary — military aesthetic: tactical armor, exo-rigs, combat gear, a veteran's stare.
Your group is set by the path you pick in Jobs — that group's style is the one available in the constructor.
